BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Pastor Ricki D. Ramgoolie was born into an Adventist home on March 10th, 1988. He is the last of three boys and the proud uncle of one nephew and niece. From an early age he showed great interest in serving the Lord and has been in active service since he was 11 years old, which was when he preached his first sermon.

He has served in and led several departments of the church which include Family Life, Community Services, AY, Secretariat, Sabbath School and Personal Ministries. He served with distinction within the Eldership for sixteen [16] consecutive years, beginning at the age of fifteen [15] and was ordained as an Elder in July 2011.

Also from an early age, he was drawn to Mathematics and the Human Anatomy and excelled academically at both throughout his life, as he pursued a career in the field of Forensic Pathology. He was also apt to teach and did so at the secondary and tertiary levels in the disciplines of Biology and Mathematics for a total of 12 years.

Sensing a deeper calling over his life, he began sincerely praying about the impressions he was getting to become a full time Minister, as being a Pastor was nowhere near the list of career options for him.

It was an immensely difficult decision to make such a paradigm shift, but after almost two years of numerous confirmations from the LORD, Pastor Ramgoolie accepted the call and as a result, pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology at the University of the Southern Caribbean which he completed in July 2018.

Since his call to Ministry, Pastor Ramgoolie has conducted several evangelistic campaigns and weeks of revival throughout Trinidad and Tobago, which resulted in men, women and children giving their lives to Christ. In August of 2019, he spearheaded a campaign which resulted in a church being replanted.

He has also been blessed to have been a part of evangelistic and missionary efforts in Guyana and Suriname as well as the featured speaker at a number of IADPA conventions in the island of Grenada.

Pastor Ramgoolie’s mantra is, “Not I but Christ” and has dedicated his life to “reaching the unreached” people of the world with the everlasting gospel of our soon coming Saviour: Jesus, the Christ. He completed his internship years at the Stanmore Avenue & Sangre Grande SDA Churches and is currently serving as the District Pastor of the Penal District.

Pastor Ramgoolie wishes to publicly pay special tribute to his late mother, who was his greatest spiritual influence and the most ardent supporter of his ministry.
