In 1986 he accepted the call of discipleship by our Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Propelled by the Holy Spirit and a burning desire to be a gospel worker for Jesus Christ, Pastor Brathwaite enrolled at the University of the Southern Caribbean (then CUC) in 1992 and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology with emphasis in health.

Pastor Brathwaite’s background as a medical worker has allowed him to successfully bring to bear in his ministry that important aspect of Health that procures a wide scope much akin to our Lords own Ministry.  One notable contribution is a series of lessons knows as “Your Health Today” Bible course that has blessed the hearts of thousands around the Caribbean.  Pastor Brathwaite has led approximately three hundred and eighty one (381) souls to Jesus Christ.
