Pastor Owen Jack

Pastor Owen E. Jack has served the Seventh-day Adventist church with distinction for thirty nine years. Thirty-three of those years he served as a Pastor. Prior to pursuing Theology at the then CUC (Caribbean Union College), he worked as a nurse at the Davis Memorial Hospital in Guyana.

Pastor Jack served as Senior Pastor for eight districts, Zonal Leader for three Zones and School Board Chairman for three Schools. He also served as Ministerial Secretary of the South Caribbean Conference from 2011 – 2019. The Ministerial Secretary is the Pastor of the Pastors, Religious Educators, Chaplains and their families. He is also responsible for the training of Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses.

 Pastor Jack is the author of three books. “In the name of Jesus”, “What you need to know about Grief” and “A guide to acceptable worship”.

Pastor Jack is an organized Pastor who is gifted in the area of, counseling, administration and teaching. He is a humble, loving, caring and spiritual Pastor who sees ministry as making a difference in people’s lives. He loves counseling, reading, writing, swimming, planting and lecturing on family life, health, spiritual warfare and evangelism. Through his life, writing and preaching thousands of souls were transformed, delivered and won to God’s kingdom. His mission is to reveal the character of God, seek and save the lost, and serve others.

Pastor Jack is married to Hazel White- Jack who is a Spanish teacher at CUC Secondary School. They have two sons, Joel who is a Medical Doctor and Jeremy who is a Computer Electrical Engineer.
