Diploma in Business Administration from Caribbean Union College (CUC) now University of the Southern Caribbean (USC), Royal Road, Maracas, St Joseph.

Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and a Minor in Health with honors from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan, USA.

Working experience:

 1977-1980: Electrical Installation

1982-1985: CUC now USC-purchasing clerk, messenger.

1986-1989: Caribbean Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist (CARU) Messenger.

1990-2002: Accounting, General Conference SUN Accounting program

Responsibilities: Posting, Cashing, Banking, Payroll, Receivables, Payables, Financial Statements etc.

January 2003 to October 2003: Ministerial Intern with the South Caribbean Conference of SDA.

November 2003 to 2007: District Pastor in Williamsville District

2007-2011: Publishing Director of the South Caribbean Conference.

2011- presently: Treasurer of South Caribbean Conference.

Married since 1979 to Monica Balgobin nee Maharaj an Enrolled Nursing Assistant

Have two adult sons who are now married.

Enjoys reading, researching, running, and agriculture.

Co-hosted with Pastor Terrance Browne of the program VICTORIOUS LIFESTYLE on power 102.1 FM on Sunday mornings from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. 2007-2014.

Loves motivating people to become agents of change by changing their own lives.
